Yu Xiaoguang’s Agency Denies Allegations of Cheating on Choo Ja Hyun After the Actor Was Spotted Leaving a Bar With a Woman

Bad news for fans of celebrity couple Yu Xiaoguang and Choo Ja Hyun as the Chinese actor is currently embroiled in cheating rumours after being papped leaving a bar late one night with an unknown woman. Because he wasn’t wearing a mask, the actor was easily identifiable as he pulled the woman to sit on his lap after entering the car first.

The footage naturally sparked a lot of questions whether his marriage with South Korean actress Choo Ja Hyun was already on the rocks and whether this was just proof since many thought sitting on his lap was just too “intimate” for the actor and the woman to be “just friends”. Many Netizens are also feeling sorry for his wife Ja Hyun. “The scumbag is not worthy of you!!” said one, whilst others said “I really believed they were a true love couple??”, “I thought Choo Ja Hyun finally found happiness.”

Earlier today, BH Entertainment – the couple’s South Korean agency, released a statement saying the video was taken when he was going home after a gathering with friends back in May. “The people appearing in the video are directors and close acquaintances his family has close dealings with. Regardless of how close people are, we will be more careful in the future since people’s actions can easily be misconstrued. Because many of you have expressed your love and support for Yu Xiaoguang and Choo Ja Hyun, we promise that all the parties involved have learned a lesson from this incident and will be more cautious of their actions in the future.”

Yu Xiaoguang and Choo Ja Hyun were married back in 2017 and have a young son born in 2018.  Since moving to China more than a decade ago for work, not only is Choo Ja Hyun fluent in Mandarin, but her popularity in China has also exploded after appearing in the Chinese drama “The Temptation to Go Home”  – an adaptation of the Korean series Temptation of Wife. The celebrity couple also received a lot of love after appearing together in the South Korean variety show Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny.
