Arthur Chen Feiyu Now Officially a Chinese Citizen

I can’t believe we’re well past the mid-year mark but darn it we’re still waiting for Arthur Chen Feiyu and Leo Luo Yunxi’s Immortality 皓衣行 to hit the screens. After months of waiting you’d have thought the series would’ve already premiered by now but I guess the drama gods are keen on making us wait for a little bit longer. In the meantime, here’s a quick little update on Arthur Chen Feiyu who officially became a Chinese citizen this week.

Chen Feiyu is the younger of renowned film director Chen Kaige and actress Chen Hong’s two sons. He was born in the United States on April 9, 2000. In a short statement issued by the actor’s studio on July 24, Chen Feiyu who previously held an American citizenship is now officially Chinese. As China is one of the countries that does not recognise dual citizenships, the actor who’s now 21 years old had started the process to renounce his American citizenship after turning 18 back in 2018.
