Woman Queued For Over 6 Hours At Jollibee Sunway Pyramid: “It Was Worth The Wait”
It’s been a long time coming but Jollibee Malaysia finally opened its first outlet in West Malaysia and in Klang Valley yesterday (Tuesday, 8th February). According to insiders, customers had started queueing at Jollibee Sunway Pyramid as early as 7am.
Before the clock struck 7pm, Jollibee Malaysia even had to put up a notice on their socials informing the public that they were officially sold out for the day. Thankfully, those who were already in line still got to place their orders.
One of the many customers who showed up was Catherine Broqueza. The Pilipino lady, who currently lives in Kuala Lumpur, proudly proclaimed that she and her friends queued from 10:30am all the way to 5pm. “We are thankful that the taste was the same as Jollibee Pinas,” she wrote, before adding that it was “worth the wait“.
Impressed by her dedication, someone asked if she’s been craving for Jollibee for a long time. “Since 2019,” Catherine replied. There are netizens speculating that Jollibee might be available on GrabFood later this week. However, a rep from the famous Filipino fast food outlet has confirmed to us that there are no such plans yet (at the time of writing).
Since Jollibee is all the rage at the moment, do expect a long wait if you’re planning to come here. The Jollibee Sunway Pyramid outlet is located on LG2 at the Blue Atrium, which is near the Sunway Lagoon entrance. The restaurant opens from 10am to 10pm daily and can comfortably seat 62 people.
The world-famous Chickenjoy may be the main star at Jollibee, but our personal favourite was the Jolly Spaghetti 😉
