Fox News’ Benjamin Hall Gives First Update Since Being Injured in Ukraine, Reveals He Lost Limbs

Benjamin Hall, a correspondent for Fox News, is opening up about his injuries after being attacked in Ukraine last month.

The 39-year-old British journalist wrote two tweets on Thursday night (April 7) in which he paid tribute to two colleagues who were killed and discussed the extent of his injuries.

Benjamin was in a vehicle with Fox News cameraman Pierre Zakrzewski and Ukrainian native Oleksandra “Sasha” Kuvshynova, who worked as a consultant for the team. The vehicle was hit by incoming fire outside of Kyiv and his two co-workers were killed. He was seriously injured.

“It’s been over three weeks since the attack in Ukraine and I wanted to start sharing it all. But first I need to pay tribute to my colleagues Pierre and Sasha who didnt make it that day. Pierre and I traveled the world together, working was his joy and his joy was infectious. RIP,” he tweeted.

Benjamin added, “To sum it up, I’ve lost half a leg on one side and a foot on the other. One hand is being put together, one eye is no longer working, and my hearing is pretty blown… but all in all I feel pretty damn lucky to be here – and it is the people who got me here who are amazing!”
