Eva Longoria Marks Return To Small Screen With Apple TV+’s ‘Land of Women’
Eva Longoria will be back on the small screen once again in Apple TV+’s Land of Women.
According to TV Line, the -year-old actress is set to star in the drama series as well as executive produce.
Eva will star as Gala in the show, who is forced to flee New York City with her mother and college-age daughter when her husband implicates the whole family in a series of financial crimes.
The three women hide out in a charming wine town in northern Spain that Gala’s mother once called home.
“The women seek to start anew and hope their identities will remain unknown, but gossip in the small town quickly spreads, unraveling their deepest family secrets and truths,” the official description reads.
Eva will star alongside Carmen Maura, who will portray her mother, Julia.
Land of Women has received a six episode order and is based on the bestselling novel by Sandra Barneda.
Just recently, Eva opened up about her personal life in a new podcast interview.
