“VersaThai” Showcases Inspiring Designs From Top Thai Fashion Brands

Sawadee-ka, all you Thai fashionistas! Aside from the incredible food, culture, and traditions, do you know what else Thailand is known for? Fashion, of course! Thailand, in addition to being one of the most fashionable cities in the world, is home to a plethora of internationally renowned names in the fashion industry.

On 12th September (Monday), the VersaThai fashion showcase hosted by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) and the Royal Thai Embassy of Malaysia, revealed a long line of highly popular brands with the best design, quality and detail in Thai style.

The showcase featured 10 of the Top Thai Fashion Brands of 2022, with more than 80 professionally designed costumes divided into three signature styles. The first was the Dawn of Pride, which featured Contemporary Thai Fashion, bringing Thai culture and fabrics from the past to present modern cuts, designed by Mirah, Vertiaire, and De Quarr Community.

In addition, the Shining Happiness collection is inspired by Everyday Fashion, helping to boost confidence and spread joy. Finally, the Bright Future collection includes Sustainable Fashion, which includes designer clothes that are environmentally friendly in order to promote a sustainable society.

“VersaThai fashion showcase, part of Think Fashion Think THAILAND campaign, will display Top Thai Fashion Brands 2022. The key theme of this event is VersaThai, which derives from the word “Versatile” where “changeable” and “mix and match” fashions are available for different lifestyles,” says the director of DITP, Mr. Worawan Wanwil.
