Kristen Wiig Wears Yellow Dress & Hat While Filming ‘Mrs. American Pie’ with Ricky Martin

Kristen Wiig and Ricky Martin are hitting the beach!

The 49-year-old actress and the 50-year-old entertainer arrived at the beach to film scenes for their upcoming Apple TV+ series Mrs. American Pie on Thursday afternoon (October 6) in San Pedro, Calif.

For their day of filming, Kristen wore a yellow dress and white bonnet while Ricky sported a brown geometric-print shirt and brown pants while carrying around a trumpet.

While they were at the beach, Kristen and Ricky filmed a scene with a life-sized, fake whale.

According to Deadline, Mrs. American Pie is about “gorgeously impossible people. Set during the powder keg era of the early 1970s, it follows Maxine Simmons (Wiig) and her attempt to secure her seat at America’s most exclusive table: Palm Beach high society. As Maxine attempts to cross that impermeable line between the haves and the have-nots, the series asks the same questions that baffle us today: Who gets a seat at the table, how do you get a seat at the table, and what will you sacrifice to get there?”
