JYP Entertainment’s Recent Tweet Adds Further Speculation That NMIXX Jinni’s Contract Termination Wasn’t Planned Ahead
Here’s what it implies.
JYP Entertainment uploaded a statement on Twitter that added further speculation that Jinni‘s departure from NMIXX was not planned in advance.
In the post, they announced that NMIXX’s second Christmas video, which was scheduled to be released today, was cancelled due to “production reasons.” They apologized to the fans who were waiting for it and asked for their kind understanding.
However, many who viewed the tweet believe that the true reason why the video was cancelled is because Jinni was still included in it, and the company may not have had the time to edit her out of it.
NSWERs argued that it must have been shot prior to her departure, and they called for JYP Entertainment to “stop pretending like nothing happened” and completely erasing Jinni from their content.
With this in mind, NSWERs proposed that the tweet is proof that Jinni’s departure was not planned ahead because they would not have let her participate in it if they knew she’d be leaving.
Fans asked questions like, “Why would they shoot this so early just for this to not get released?” and “The fact that she ‘left’ the company is just not lining up. At this rate, I really don’t believe that she left the company on her own. Did the company not think about their promotions?”
Meanwhile, JYP Entertainment announced Jinni’s departure from both NMIXX and the company on December 9, much to the devastation and confusion of fans from all over the world. See more reasons why fans are questioning her contract termination in the article below.
