The 2022 Miss Korea Finalist Gaining Attention For Her Uncanny Resemblance To BLACKPINK’s Jennie

The former Miss Korea, Seoul finalist spilled on the comparisons!

When it comes to a K-Pop idol who is seen as a standard of beauty, BLACKPINK‘s Jennie is always someone praised for her visuals.

Since debuting, Jennie might have matured in her looks and features, but the idol has still kept that core beauty that netizens can’t stop gushing over.

It has also meant that she has become the standard for beauty for many, and other stars and high-profile people in Korea are often compared to her. For example, back in 2022, Single’s Inferno star Song Ji A (also known as Freezia) was compared to the idol, bearing a resemblance to Jennie and IVE‘s Jang Wonyoung.

Recently, another high-profile Korean has gained attention after revealing the comparisons she gets to BLACKPINK’s Jennie.

In 2022, Korea had its annual 2022 Miss Korea pageant preliminary rounds in each city. Amongst all the contestants, one person who gained attention was the second-place winner for Seoul, Yoo Si Eun. Unsurprisingly, Si Eun gained attention for her beauty, elegance, and grace.

Even on her Instagram, Yoo Si Eun could easily pass as an idol with her unique features and charm. So, it wasn’t surprising that the contestant has been compared to BLACKPINK’s Jennie.

On January 3, Yoo Si Eun appeared on Channel S‘s show Attack On Sisters. During the show, the MCs explained that Yoo Si Eun resembled Jennie. In response, she explained that it was something she had heard a lot, and, especially during the competition, her resemblance to the idol became a hot topic.

She also added how, despite hearing the comparisons, she wants to find her own “color.”

Although the hosts didn’t seem to see the huge resemblance in person, they were shocked after seeing some of Yoo Si Eun’s photos. Looking at some of the shots, it isn’t surprising that the cast was so confused.

It isn’t the first time the comparison has been made. When the results for Miss Korea, Seoul were released, netizens saw the resemblance between Si Eun and Jennie, especially due to her cheeks which resemble the idol.
