The Glory actress Cha Joo Young continues to awe fans with the transformation she has made for her upcoming new drama, The Real Has Come!

On March 8, KBS released still cuts for The Real Has Come! The upcoming weekend drama promises to be much more mellow than Cha Joo Young’s current hit drama, The Glory.

In the stills, Cha Joo Young is unrecognizable from her character in The Glory. For her upcoming drama, the actress tosses away the vanity shown in her previous drama and trades it in for a more mature and understated look.

The drama also features actors Baek Jin Hee and Ahn Jae Hyun and follows the romance between a pregnant woman and an unmarried man.

In the drama, Cha Joo Young will play the executive secretary of a large corporation. Cha Joo Young’s character is said to be someone who takes good care of herself.

Recently Cha Joo Young revealed what made her pick the weekend drama, which is known for running past 40 episodes. Ahead of the drama’s first episode, the actress spoke in an interview.

I wanted to try acting in a longer project, so I picked the drama. I had fun reading the script, and I liked the fact that the characters and their relationships wasn’t predictable.

As for the style changes she made for her upcoming character, the actress revealed that she focused on an understated elegance compared to her gaudy character on The Glory.

I focused on (portraying) a woman who has an understated sophistication. The character believes it is a skill to use people, so I hope while slyly getting out of the situations she finds herself in, audiences view her as an understated, sophisticated woman.
