Julia Garner Shares First Comments After Madonna Biopic Gets Scrapped
Julia Garner is breaking her silence after the Madonna biopic got scrapped.
Back in January 2023, it was announced that the 64-year-old “Material Girl” entertainer’s biopic was no longer moving forward, even though she has been working on the script for years.
Along with writing the script, Madonna was also planning on directing the biopic with Julia, 29, attached to portray her.
While attending the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party over the weekend, Julia reacted to the biopic getting scraped.
While chatting with Entertainment Tonight, Julia was asked if she’s hopeful that project would happen eventually.
“Yeah, yeah,” Julia responded. “I don’t want to tell too much. I want to keep things… yeah, fingers crossed.”
Fans have speculated why Madonna‘s biopic had been scrapped.
