‘Succession’s Latest Episode Leaves Viewers in Shock As One Of The Roy Family Members [SPOILER]!

WARNING – SPOILERS AHEAD! DO NOT READ IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW!

The latest episode of Succession left a lot of fans with their jaws on the floor after one of the Roy family members shockingly died.

The episode, titled “Connor’s Wedding,” kicks off with the Roy siblings, as well as Greg, Gerri, and Hugo, embarking on a boat trip to Liberty Island for Willa and Connor’s marriage ceremony.

However, Logan, does not join them and instead takes his private jet to heads to a meeting with Lukas Mattson to discuss the uncertain GoJo acquisition.

It turns out that Logan’s health took a turn for the worse and started to received chest compressions due to his complaint of breathlessness. Tom is forced to have Logan say his goodbyes over the phone to Kendall and Roman, who then share the news with the others.

It’s not clear when Logan passes away in the episode, but there is one point where Tom informs the crew that the attempt to revive Logan stop.

After hearing the news, Kendall, Roman, and Shiv head back to the airport where Shiv reads out a statement to the press, where she says that she and her siblings plan to be involved with Waystar Royco following their father’s passing.

Speaking with Deadline after the episode’s airing, Brian Cox revealed that he knew about the twist way ahead of time.

“He was very good about that, Jesse [Armstrong, showrunner], because he told me right before the season started, this was going to happen. And I knew that I was going to be going,” he shared.

Brian added that he was “very proud of myself, that I managed to keep this secret. You know, I thought, wow, Brian, for the first time ever, you’ve actually kept a secret. It’s such a big secret.”

As for what the rest of the season looks like, Brian is as eager to watch as fans are.

“I’m eager to see how it shapes up, eager to see how…because it’s a slightly different show when you don’t have Logan,” he notes. “It’ll be interesting to see how Logan’s shadow looms, but I really don’t know, because I’m out of it.”
