Karina has been in the spotlight a lot lately with her visuals and stage presence for aespa‘s latest comeback, “Spicy”. Between her iconic blonde hair and dazzling charisma on-stage, she’s definitely one of the “it girls” of the modern era of K-Pop.
With all of this discussion around her lately, some fans have been bringing up videos and performances of her back during her pre-debut days when she was a backup dancer.
It was clear during her trainee days at SM Entertainment that she had a lot of promise as a performer, and the company took advantage of that by having her share the stage with such huge names as SHINee‘s Taemin.
It was undoubtedly intimidating to be performing with such a legend as Taemin, but Karina held her own even back then.
