Danielle Jonas Explains Why She Didn’t Join ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’

Danielle Jonas isn’t ready to become a member of the Real Housewives franchise.

The 36-year-old wife to Kevin Jonas and mother to two children recently revealed that Bravo reached out to her about joining the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. However, she wasn’t interested.

She explained why and revealed the reality project that she’d prefer to do instead. Kevin also weighed in on his wife joining the Bravo family.

While on the LadyGang podcast with Kevin, Danielle confirmed that she was approached about joining RHONJ. She also had a simple reason for passing.

“I was asked,” she said. “But I think I would die. I think they would like, they would kill me.”

Kevin agreed, saying that Danielle on the show would be the equivalent of “bringing the lamb to the slaughter over there.” He also took a moment to defend her, saying that more realistically she could “hold her own.”

Danielle agreed, since she said her response to all the drama would be pretty lowkey. “I would probably just sit there laughing,” she mused.

If she were to make an appearance on reality TV, Danielle said that she’d prefer to reprise her old series with Kevin called Married to Jonas.
