Zayn Malik Shares Rare Comments About His & Gigi Hadid’s Daughter Khai in First Interview in Six Years

Zayn Malik is returning to the spotlight!

The 30-year-old “Pillowtalk” singer recently sat down with Alex Cooper for an interview on her podcast Call Her Daddy, which will be released on Wednesday (July 12).

This marks Zayn‘s first interview in six years!

In a teaser for the interview, Zayn touches on his One Direction days and shares some rare comments about his and ex Gigi Hadid‘s 2-year-old daughter Khai.

“I feel like we were so overexposed in the band,” Zayn says, referring to his time in One Direction. “That’s why I took the time that I have to, like, not even necessarily do interviews.”

Later in the teaser, Zayn says, “Since I’ve had my daughter, the main thing in my mind is trying to be a good example to her.”

“That’s why I’m even doing this interview, you know?” Zayn continued. “I used to get a lot of anxiety around having a conversation like this. And I want her to be able to look at me and be like, ‘My dad’s doing this.’”

He also revealed, “I keep being told I’m telling dad jokes. And I’m leaning into it. I’m just like, ‘It’s OK. It’s cool.’”

Zayn‘s upcoming appearance on Call Her Daddy comes shortly after Liam Payne addressed his controversial comments about One Direction.
