Soap Opera Star Jessica Serfaty Engaged to Italian Billionaire Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio

Jessica Serfaty is engaged!

The 32-year-old Days of Our Lives actress is set to marry Italian billionaire Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio, 28.

Leonardo is the heir to the Ray-Ban fortune and his family owns eyewear group EssilorLuxottica, which includes brands such as Ray-Ban, Persol, Oakley, and Sunglass Hut.

“The week before Leo asked for my hand, we had been laughing about one another’s past engagement stories,” Jessica told People. “Poking fun at all the do’s and don’ts that come along with proposals. I was completely taken by surprise when he dropped to one knee. I remember seeing the joy in Leo’s face when he couldn’t hold it in any longer. He teared up at the end. (Sorry Leo, but I had too!) It was spontaneous, exciting and beautiful.”

Leo asked for Jessica‘s hand in marriage while they were dining on the Amalfi coast in Italy.

“I never pictured a yellow diamond, then again, I’ve never been a traditional ring kinda-gal. Leo’s taste is timeless and now after having it, I’d never want anything different. It’s beautiful,” she said about her ring.

Jessica and Leo first met in 2017 and started dating a couple years later. Congrats to the happy couple!
