Muda should not attack PH, says Sg Buloh MP’s aide

KUALA LUMPUR: Muda has been advised to be patient and not attack Pakatan Harapan.

“Muda was supportive of Pakatan but six months later, it is now attacking Pakatan,” said Aidi Ahmad Yazid, the political secretary to Sungai Buloh MP Datuk R Ramanan.

“It wants to be the third force but the attacks unfortunately are mostly against Pakatan and not against Perikatan Nasional,” he said in a statement on Wednesday (July 19).

Aidi said Malaysians could gauge the situation by reading into the series of statements and reactions by Muda president Syed Saddiq Abdul Rahman against Pakatan.

“I empathise with Syed Saddiq for (feeling) slighted by a lack of acceptance under the unity government.

“But we hope Muda can see the larger picture as its entry (in the upcoming state elections) will only benefit Perikatan.

“Supporters of Perikatan will not vote for Muda,” he said.

He added that the Sungai Buloh Pakatan team had even assisted Muda in carrying out its Ramadan programme.

“We believe actions speak louder than words,” he said, adding that Syed Saddiq should review his party’s plans and not split the vote.
