PETALING JAYA: An anti-vice raid saw the arrest of over 80 foreigners at an entertainment outlet in Kuala Lumpur in the early hours of Tuesday (July 25).

“Further checks were conducted on 22 local GROs, 46 workers and 336 customers. Urine tests conducted on six customers came back positive for methamphetamine and ketamine.

“The KTV premises was found to have provided 17 rooms and charged packages ranging from RM3,800 to RM25,000, while also providing GROs upon request for a set fee. It was found to have been operating between 8pm and 6am daily and was without a valid entertainment centre licence while also misusing a restaurant licence issued by DBKL,” he said.

Also seized during the raid were loudspeaker sets, microphones and RM13,862 in cash.

“All those arrested, along with the items seized, have been brought to the Dang Wangi police headquarters for further investigations.

“The police advise all to obey the rules set by the authorities especially when operating entertainment businesses.
