If you were unaware, the couple is gearing up to drop a new song called “Jealousy” on Friday (July 28).

Was it all a trick to get people talking? Cardi weighed in and revealed the truth.
On Instagram, Cardi responded to a fan who claimed that they were just setting fans up last month.
“It wasn’t no STUNT,” she responded. “Tasha K made some ish up and yall was laughing about it and happy a-s hell about it. Now that we putting it in the music is a stunt … Naaa baby be mad at the one who started trolling wit it.”
Cardi then shared the message on Twitter, noting that it had become “a different narrative” about them.
