Chinese Actress Wang Luodan Called Out For Diva Behaviour After Assistant Is Seen Kneeling To Remove Her Heels In Public

Some netizens have argued that the assistant is paid to do that.

There are many things a celebrity’s personal assistant has to do. But how far should they actually go?

In a video circulated online, an unnamed actress was seen getting help from her assistant to remove her heels.

The only thing was, the assistant was on her knees while the actress continued chatting with a colleague.

After her shoes were removed, the actress then reached out her hand so the assistant could remove her accessories.

The actress was later revealed to be Chinese actress Wang Luodan, 39.

Needless to say, the actress was condemned by netizens for her behaviour, with many calling out her “diva behaviour”. Some also described her as a “snob”.

Luodan had her share of supporters who said she did nothing wrong as it is her assistant’s job to look after her.

“This should be a job obligation that was established from the start,” remarked one netizen, while another said: “Isn’t the assistant paid to do that? If [the assistant] isn’t willing to do it, she should quit. No one is forcing her to do this.”

Luodan rose to fame after starring in 2007 Chinese series Struggle. Her popularity skyrocketed after Chinese dramas My Youthfulness (2009) and A Story of Lala’s Promotion (2010).

In 2013, Luodan won Best Supporting Actress at the Golden Rooster Awards for her performance in the movie Caught in the Web.

Do you think a PA should have to change the artiste’s shoes for them?
