Jeon Somi’s Response When Staff Members Cut Off Her Fancall Showcases Her True Personality

The soloist took matters into her own hands.

Soloist Jeon Somi recently made her long-awaited comeback with “Fast Forward” from her EP Game Plan, which was released on August 6.

To celebrate the release of the new EP, the talented soloist held in-person and online fansign events.

During her interactions with fans, Somi spilled on her fellow K-Pop idol friendships, her upcoming YouTube variety show Yes Or Hot, and showed her sweet personality when she went out of her way to make fans feel special.

One fan, in particular, shared their experience chatting with Somi during the Melon video call event on August 19 (KST).

During Somi’s video calls, other fans shared videos of staff members attempting to cut off the call, only for Somi to sweetly intervene to give the fan a proper goodbye.

The OP (original poster) who shared about their fancall said they had a similar experience while talking with Somi.

As the alarm sounded, signaling that their call was coming to an end, the staff members swiftly placed a paper in front of the camera to cut off their conversation.

The fan shared that they called out to Somi, asking if they could say one final thing to her, but the staff members ended the call.

After thinking the opportunity to say their parting message to Somi had passed, they received a KakaoTalk message from the artist herself.

Somi thoughtfully asked the fan what their parting message was, going out of her way to make the experience unforgettable.
