Cardi B Shares Update on Second Album, Says It’s Coming ‘Very Soon’
Cardi B is teasing her long-awaited sophomore album!
It’s been five years since the 30-year-old Grammy-winning rapper first released her debut album Invasion of Privacy in 2018, and since then, she has released several singles and collaborations.
In a new interview, Cardi shared an update on the progress of her second album.
While speaking with Vogue Mexico, Cardi said that she’s soon “going to publish [her] next solo single,” noting that she’s “not going to release any more collaborations.”
“Now I’m working on the cover and ideas for the next album because it’s definitely coming,” Cardi shared. “Everyone always tells me that I should release the album now, they did it when I launched ‘WAP’ and ‘Up’, but I always let them know that I’m not going to wait long to release it after all these singles.”
“So stay tuned because it’s going to come out very soon,” Cardi teased.
Cardi also shared that she has big plans outside of the music world.
“I also have plans in the world of cinema,” Cardi said. “In fact I have plans to do everything I can: fashion, branding, I want to do it all, honey.”
If you missed it, the microphone Cardi recently threw at a fan was auctioned off for a lot of money – and it’s all going to charity.
