This New Cocktail Bar In Sri Hartamas Serves Up Alcoholic Malaysian Desserts

From house-infused pandan and sour plum gin and tonics, to low-alcohol content Teh O Ais Limau cocktails, the bar serves up an interesting menu that heavily features Malaysian flavours

Not to mention, Sanctuary 38 also serves an array of alcoholic Malaysian desserts, which are ideal after-dinner refreshments
Priced at only RM18 per bowl, the most popular cocktails are the Pandan Tau Fu Fah — prepared with the bar’s homemade beancurd, dark rum, and palm sugar or muscovado syrup — and Sago Gula Melaka cocktail, which is made out of the familiar flavours of coconut milk and palm sugar, but with an added kick of coconut liquor and spiced rum.
For those more attuned to traditional cures, the bar also serves a Herbal Jelly with Tan Ngan Lo Syrup, a popular medicated tea you can buy from Chinese medicine shops, with chrysanthemum and liquorice gin.

Another notable mention is the bar’s boozy play on other common Asian flavours
On the menu, you can also find alcoholic Taiwanese Ai Yu Jelly, a Japanese sake with honeydew cocktail, as well as a Baileys Vietnamese Coffee, among many others.
