BTS’s V Tells Suga How The Infamous “I Love You” Text Really Made Him Feel

They still get shy when they talk about it!

During the latest episode of Suchwita, BTS‘s Suga and V reflected on the year 2018 when the members were going through hard times. At the time, the group was facing contract renewal and were unsure of what the future would hold.

After writing “Tear,” a song written for the members who were on the verge of breaking up, Suga sent a text to V and Jungkook including the words “I love you.”

V explained how the thoughtful gesture had a big effect on him after the difficult time the members had gone through back then.

After seeing that, Jungkook and I found the will to continue.

I never thought you would say something like that! But because you sent it, it felt really sincere. So it was really touching.

Suga shared that this newfound energy got them through the next two years…
