Kep1er In Discussions To Extend Their Project Group Contract

Could they be the first extension?

Kep1er‘s agency Wake One Entertainment is currently in discussions with the members’ agencies in regard to extending their promotional contract.

According to a report from SPOTV, Wake One Entertainment met with representatives from the Kep1er members’ agencies recently to discuss the possibility of extending the project group’s activities. Wake One Entertainment extended the same offer to all of the members’ agencies, and while no agreement was made during the meeting, Wake One Entertainment expressed their interest in continuing discussions.

As Kep1er’s project group time has passed the midway point, it was time for us to have a meeting with the agencies to establish the roadmap for the future and the strategy for the long-term activities of the artist. We made the same proposal to all of the agencies.

We did our best to reach an agreement with all of the agencies but no agreement was made yet. There is still time for their activities, so we will continue to hold these discussions.

Kep1er debuted through Girls Planet 999 back in January 2022. Their activities were planned to last for two and a half years, meaning their activities will end in July 2024. Should the involved parties agree to extend their activities, this would be the first audition program group that would successfully extend their activities past the planned length.
