Two killed, 11 hurt in car-van collision in Gerik
IPOH: Two people, including a child, have died while 11 others sustained injuries in an accident involving a car and a van in Gerik.
Perak Fire and Rescue Department operations commander Zulhelmi Bahari said a distress call was made at 2.32am on Monday (Oct 2).
He said there were 11 people in the van, consisting of three men, four women and four children, all of whom sustained injuries.
Zulhelmi said the deceased were a man and a child travelling in the car.
“The bodies have been handed over to the police, and all those injured were sent to the hospital,” he added.
