Pasir Gudang MP calls for solidarity with Palestinians
JOHOR BARU: Pasir Gudang MP Hassan Abdul Karim (pic) is calling for solidarity with the Palestinian people following violence that has erupted there.
He said that over a month ago, a cultural association delegation from Palestine came to Parliament to meet with government bloc MPs.

“At that time, not many MPs attended, except for a few of us who still show interest, support and sympathy with the people of Palestine’s struggle.
“In that meeting, I had time to speak where I mentioned only one thing… that I consider important in the struggle for the independence of the Palestinian people from the Israeli Zionist occupation.

“I said the Palestinian people should never abandon the armed struggle,” he said in a statement on Monday (Oct 9).
Hassan added that at dawn on Saturday (Oct 7), the Palestinian people rose again and their fighters managed to regain their dignity.
