Grace Chan Chows Down On Pan-Fried Buns In A Mukbang, But Netizens Doubt She Eats Much In Real Life

All that because she has a slim figure.

Despite having her three sons in quick succession, Hong Kong-born Canadian star Grace Chan, 32, has managed to maintain her slender figure. Much to the envy of many.

As an in-demand KOL, Grace often shares videos of herself enjoying food on her social media, earning the reputation of someone who “never puts on weight no matter how much she eats”.

Grace was recently in Shanghai for work, where she got the chance to feast on local delicacies.

There, she filmed a mukbang, which she posted with this caption: “I’ve come to Shanghai just to have a bite of this!”

The dish that got her so excited was sheng jian bao, or pan-fried buns, which are filled with pork and crab meat.

She took a bite and then another, going on to sing high praises of the buns.

With a satisfied expression, she continued her mukbang, taking another three bites.

She looked to be really enjoying her meal — just look at the satisfied furrow of her brow

Netizens were fixated on how much she ate.

“She’s eating, and eating, and eating, but her figure is still so good. I’m so jealous,” wrote one netizen.

However, many were quick to point out that Grace wasn’t “eating, and eating, and eating”.

“She only had a couple of bites,” read a response to that comment, while another wrote: “Perhaps that’s all she eats in one day.”

Those netizens weren’t buying the possibility that Grace eats as much as she wants her followers to believe from that video. In fact, they were more inclined to believe she watches her diet, hence her good figure.

Funny how a harmless mukbang has led to such an in-depth discussion of Grace’s appetite.

Maybe she has really high metabolism?
