Angelababy Edited Out Of Chinese Variety Show Proving Rumours That She Is Cancelled In China Are True

It looks like all those rumours about Angelababy, 34, getting cancelled in China for allegedly watching Blackpink Lisa’s super hyped-up Crazy Horse performance is true.

Yes, even after the Parisian cabaret came out to say that allegations are fake news and that Angelababy wasn’t even there.

The star, who has yet to address the controversy, has been removed from the cast of Keep Running. She was on the show for all 11 seasons, bar season five, when she was pregnant.

It was also discovered that Angelababy had been edited out of a recent episode of gourmet show It Sounds Incredible 3.

She was one of its three regular panellists, alongside Zhang Hanyun and Yang Di.

The telecast of It Sounds Incredible was put on hold last week, with its production team citing “special arrangements due to the Asian Games”, and “changes in arrangements for the show”.

While she was seen during an initial preview clip, Angelababy was completely edited out of the full episode, which aired on Oct 14.

It must be said that the production team’s editing for the episode was superb. You would not even know that Angelababy was part of the show.

It also gives us an inkling as to why its telecast had to be delayed for a week.

Eagle-eyed netizens, however, managed to catch a glimpse of Angelababy’s braid in one of the scenes.

Other than that, Angelababy, who was seated between Hanyun and Yang Di was completely erased, making it look like her two co-stars were seated beside each other from the start.

Still, an additional glass of water and an oddly-photoshopped box, which worked as replacement for a plate, showed signs as to where Angelababy originally sat.

However, there were fans who believed Angelababy did not participate in the filming for the episode at all.

“The preview that aired was for episode nine, and the one that aired on Oct 14 was episode 10,” they wrote.

A netizen responded to the comment with: “So does that mean the episode with Angelababy can’t be aired at all?”

Besides being removed from programmes, Angelababy, who is a spokesperson for Tiffany & Co., was MIA at the luxury jewellery brand’s recent event.

According to an insider report, her upcoming Marie Claire cover shoot has also been put on hold.
