Liu Chia Chang Claims Ex-Wife Chen Chen Hired A Prostitute For Their Son; Calls Her The Most “Shameless Mother” Ever

Since 2015, legendary Hong Kong songwriter Liu Chia Chang, 83, and his ex-wife, Taiwanese actress Chen Chen, 75, have engaged in some very public mudslinging.

The couple got married in 1978 and allegedly wanted to call it quits in 1987. However, they pretended to be a blissfully married couple for over 20 years for the sake of their son, Taiwanese singer Jeremy Liu Zi Qian, now 37.

The tension between both parties recently hit fever pitch, with neither Chia Chang, or Chen Chen and their son, who is on his mum’s side, holding back anymore.

On Oct 26, Chia Chang took to his Weibo to chastise Chen Chen and Jeremy for coveting his assets. “Do you still have any shame?” he wrote.

In response, Chen Chen retorted that Chia Chang had threatened to sabotage Jeremy’s singing career when he’d just entered showbiz.

“Are you fit to be a father?” she snapped.

Today (Nov 1), Chia Chang fired back with a 4000-word post on Weibo.

In his post, Chia Chang first apologised for “not handling [his] family matters well” before reprimanding Chen Chen for spoiling their child.

He also called her an undutiful mother for depriving their son of a proper education.

Chia Chang recalled that Jeremy only went to primary school in Hong Kong and Shanghai for less than one semester each before sending him to the States.

However, he eventually returned home because Chen Chen missed him too much and would cry every day when her son was overseas.

“In the 21st century, there’s still a child who’s never gone to school and isn’t educated. Can anyone believe this?” said Chia Chang.

He then noted that Chen Chen supporting Jeremy financially caused their son to go from bad to worse.

According to Chia Chang, Chen Chen would repeatedly splurge on luxury cars for her son, only for him to crash them time and again.

“I once called Chen Chen in Shanghai and warned her not to buy cars for him anymore. Three days later, she bought him the only Porsche in Shanghai at that time,” wrote Chia Chang, adding that Jeremy, true to form, crashed that car soon after.

That wasn’t the only unpardonable thing Jeremy did.

“When he was 16 and still underage, he went to a bar, got drunk and hit the Pudong police commissioner who was sitting at the next table. He then fled to Shenzhen overnight,” recalled Chia Chang.

Calling his ex-wife the most “shameless mother” ever who can’t tell right from wrong, Chia Chang also claimed Chen Chen had hired a prostitute for Jeremy when they were in a hotel in Beijing.

“Is that something a mother would do?,” he questioned.

Chia Chang said he found out what Chen Chen had done through a crew member who called his assistant.

“This ignorant woman is actually capable of doing such despicable things,” wrote Chia Chang.

The songwriter then lamented about how helpless he is as a father.

“When I couldn’t take it anymore and reprimanded him, he would clench his fist and want to hit me. It’s so heartbreaking. I’m not afraid of being beaten up. I was scared of making the news and losing face,” he confessed.

Chia Chang also claimed Chen Chen tricked him into giving his fortune away to her.

“Many years ago, Chen Chen asked me to sign my name on a blank piece of paper and I asked her why. She said I’m always out for work and this may come in handy if something happens at home. I signed it without hesitation. 30 years later, this despicable person finally put that to use,” he recalled.

The songwriter also called out to his son, saying: “You went against your conscience to help your deceitful mother, who only knows how to give you money, hurt your father who practically raised you. Can you call yourself a man?”

At the end of his post, Chia Chang said that he will no longer put up with Chen Chen’s slander.

“Every penny I gain back from this lawsuit with Chen Chen will be donated to charity. Just like how I used to donate my concert earnings to orphanages. I hope every child can go to school and receive proper education,” he said.
