Na Ying Said To Be Living In London Where Her 16-Year-Old Daughter Is Studying

The Chinese singer has been keeping a low profile since the Sing! China scandals.

Chinese singer Na Ying, 55, has been keeping a low profile following controversy surrounding singing competition Sing! China, in which she was a judge and mentor for six seasons.

The reality show was taken off air in August this year after allegations of bullying involving late Hong Kong singer Coco Lee.

In an audio recording that had gone viral, Coco had complained about being mistreated when she was one of the show’s celeb mentors in 2022.

This later led to accusations that the show’s judging system was unfair.

Chinese singer Ocean Hai accused Na Ying, who left the show in 2017, and her sister, Sing! China producer Na Xin, of abusing their power on the show, and called for an investigation into the pair.

Na Ying did not address the allegations and has remained low-key in recent months, even cancelling her appearance at a live music performance in Shanghai in September.

Well, it looks like Na Ying has been spending quite a bit of time in London.

Earlier this week, a netizen took to social media to share that he spotted Na Ying while having coffee at a Starbucks outlet in Hammersmith. He also praised the star for “looking good with no make-up”.

As Na Ying was with a friend, the netizen decided not to approach her for an autograph and photos and just took a paparazzi-like snap of her from a distance.

In the pic, Na Ying is seen waiting in line, and though the snap wasn’t very clear, netizens had lots to say about her.

There were comments that she had put on weight, though we’re not sure how they could tell from the pic.

Some netizens speculated that Na Ying is now living in London to accompany her 16-year-old daughter Meng Xiaotong, who is studying there.

Mother and daughter have been spotted in London on a number of occasions, which is not surprising as Na Ying owns property there.

Xiaotong is Na Ying’s only child with her husband, businessman Meng Tong, whom she married in 2006. Na Ying also has a 17-year-old son from her previous marriage to Chinese footballer Gao Feng.
