Cabinet reshuffle: Two former ministers return as deputy ministers
PUTRAJAYA: Two former ministers from previous governments have returned as deputy ministers in Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s unity government.
The two deputy ministers will be among the new faces in the reshuffled line-up.
Datuk Seri Noraini Ahmad — who was the Higher Education Minister in Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob’s Cabinet — has been appointed as the Deputy Women, Family and Community Development Minister.
Meanwhile, M. Kulasegaran has been named as the Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reforms).

He served as the Human Resources Minister from 2018 until 2020 in the Pakatan Harapan government led by Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
Former deputy minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (law and institutional reforms) Ramkarpal Singh has been dropped.
