That’s one way to catch your idol’s attention.
In recent years, lightsticks and fan-made signs have become must-have accessories for concertgoers. Not only do they add to the vibe of the whole experience, they can also be used to catch the attention of the star on stage.
Korean rock band Xdinary Heroes are currently on their Break The Brake World Tour. During a concert on the European leg of the tour, the band’s bassist Jooyeon received a very creative proposal.
The sextet was taking turns to address the crowd, when a fan held up a sign made specially for Jooyeon. It read: “Please marry me, my dad has a lot of money.”
Upon noticing the message, Jooyeon let out an embarrassed chuckle. The fan then made a heart sign with her hands, and a shy-looking Jooyeon raised one of his hands for a short second to reciprocate with half of a heart shape.
The interaction didn’t just stop there. Jooyeon continued grinning in her direction and even playfully stuck out his tongue.
The cute exchange was recorded on video, and later shared on social media.
Many fans were really envious of the OP’s luck, with many agreeing that it was all thanks to her ingenious sign.
Others couldn’t help but gush over how “cute” and “silly” their idol is, with some adding that he was seen making hearts to his fans at their other gigs as well.
