Song Kang Wraps Journey in “My Demon”

With SBS fantasy romcom My Demon airing its final episode, Song Kang has created a classic character in Gu Won, the charming, 200-year-old demon who reigns as the top predator, and trades human souls in sweet but perilous dealings. Entangled romantically with icy heiress Kim Do-hee (Kim Yoo Jung), the two find unexpected redemption while saving each other, mutually learning about sacrifice in an epic story arc that perfectly reflects a sweet-salty romance. Despite the average viewership, there has been large volume of online discussions around the couple who make for gorgeous visuals, while the drama also topped Netflix charts for the non-English category, trending in different countries.

Through his agency, Namoo Actors, the 29-year-old actor, who is due for enlistment in national service, gave a warm shoutout to fans and supporters as he shares fond memories on set and puts an end to his journey as Gu Won.

“Before I knew it, My Demon has already ended…like others, (the drama) was built on happy memories, and also because everyone gave me so much love, so I keep moving forward with (the drama) with a grateful heart.
