HK Actor Jacky Heung Hits Back At Netizen Who Mocked His Younger Brother’s Appearance
You don’t mess want to mess with Hong Kong actor Jacky Heung, 39, when it comes to his family.
The star recently clashed with a Chinese blogger after the latter mocked Jacky and his brother, 36-year-old businessman, Jonathan.
The pair are sons of film producer Charles Heung and his wife Tiffany Chen.
It all started when the blogger posted on Weibo: “I’ve always been puzzled. The dad is handsome, mum is beautiful, why does Jacky look like that? And his brother Jonathan isn’t much better!”
When Jacky saw the post, he retorted: “You are a wicked person. Just write about me. Write whatever you want but please don’t write about my brother in future. I will not forgive anyone, including those behind the scenes who give you money.”
He warned: “You can say whatever you want about my appearance, but my brother is one of the people I love most in my life. If you say anything else, don’t blame me [for coming after you].
The blogger deleted his post, but that did little to appease the actor.
“Why did you delete your post? Why did you delete my comment? Why not let people comment on your account? Feeling guilty? Please repost and open your comment section,” said Jacky.
The blogger later apologised to the brothers and promised to be careful with his words online.
Jacky responded: “I accept your apology, and I would like to declare that I have no intention of causing controversy on the Internet. I just hope that my brother and family will not be attacked and disturbed.”
While many netizens praised Jacky for standing up for his family, some felt his “gangster-like” remarks were inappropriate.
