Son Of Harlem Yu & Annie Yi Wows Internet By Speaking Fluent English At Paris Fashion Week

Harrison Yu, the 21-year-old son of Taiwanese stars Harlem Yu and Annie Yi, has not only garnered attention for his fearless fashion sense, but also his good command of English.

The fashionista, who in recent years has become known for dressing up in drag, recently caught the attention of street style photographers at Paris Fashion Week and was asked to share about his outfit after Berlin-based label Ottolinger’s show.

In a video on China-based magazine BoboSnap’s Instagram, Harrison, who was dressed in a midriff-baring black top, blue jacket and matching pants by the label, said he was “two hours late for his fitting and didn’t have any outfits to choose”.

“This was the only one they had, so … But it kinda works out, right?” he said in fluent English.

Netizens were very impressed by his eloquence and command of English, with many commenting that it is “better than the host’s”.

“People say this and that about him, but anyone who can handle an interview in English is far better than a keyboard warrior,” wrote one netizen, while another wrote: “He seems very calm and confident. Many people criticise him, but his attitude of being himself, that sense of relaxation makes me envious.”

Honestly, we’re not surprised that he can speak English fluently.

He went to high school at the Taipei American School before enrolling in New York University Tisch School of the Arts where he majored in directing.
