Red Velvet’s Joy Takes A Direct Shot At SM Entertainment For Ignoring The Members
Red Velvet‘s music video for “Cosmic” was set to air at 6pm KST on June 24, 2024. The company kept fans waiting, only updating fans with a notification 30 minutes past 6pm. Fans were disappointed to find out that the music video would be delayed. The company claimed that they were adding final touches to the music video.
Hello, this is RED Production. [SM Entertainment production center]
We regret to inform you that the release of Red Velvet’s new music video for the album “COSMIC,” originally scheduled for 6 PM today, has been delayed. The delay is due to final touches aimed at enhancing the video’s quality.
We sincerely apologize to all the fans and ask for your understanding and patience.

After the music video was eventually dropped, Joy took to Dear. U Bubble to express her disappointment at her company. With a sharp tongue and sarcasm, she directly criticized the company.
I don’t know… They completely didn’t listen to our opinions and just told us to wait, but I am now watching a music video without anything that has been edited.
— Joy
It seems like she was disappointed as she could not detect any changes in the music video, despite the company’s claims.
