Chinese Actress Zhang Yuxi Trapped Against Wall By Photo-Seeking Fans

Chinese actress Zhang Yuxi, best known for starring in 2016 rom-com My Little Princess, saw her popularity surge after participating in the fifth season of Sisters Who Make Waves, which has been renamed as Ride The Wind 2024.

Although the 33-year-old did not make it to the final 12-member girl group, she won the hearts of viewers with her entertaining performances.

Recently, the actress was mobbed by frantic fans desperate to get a pic of her at the airport.

In a video circulating on Weibo, Yuxi can be seen making her way through the airport with her assistant as fans surrounded her.

The crowd grew larger and the actress was eventually pushed against the wall.

Fans frantically raised their phones to snap photos, and some held up gifts and letters to give to her, ignoring Yuxi’s predicament.

Despite the chaos, the star continued to engage fans until her team squeezed in and helped Yuxi out of the scrum.

The video sparked heated discussions online, with many condemning the fans.

In the one-minute clip, Yuxi could be seen trapped against the wall for around 40 seconds.

“Xixi has such a good temper, being pushed to the corner and still accepting fan letters,” commented one netizen.

Another netizen wrote: “Chasing stars but you should prioritise safety, right?”

Some believed that these were not true fans, but rather proxy photographers, snapping photos or getting autographs to resell them at sky-high prices.
