Leslie Cheung Fans Unhappy Late Singer’s Boyfriend Allegedly Has A New Partner

It has been over 21 years since the world lost Cantopop singer Leslie Cheung, but some of his fans are still finding it hard to accept that things are bound to change.

According to reports, Leslie’s boyfriend Daffy Tong, 65, is now dating a man called Shi and the two are currently living in Daffy and Leslie’s home.

Daffy once famously declared that he would never fall for another person in his life, with many assuming he would always stay single.

Since news of the alleged relationship broke, some claimed to have seen the two on outings with a child, leading to speculation that they have a kid conceived via surrogacy.

Others surmise that the child might simply belong to a relative of Shi.

Enraged fans of Leslie have since responded negatively with some saying Daffy has cheated on the late pop icon.

Some even went as far as to say he has “betrayed the kindness of [Leslie’s] fans” and reportedly left nasty comments on his social media account.

A quick check online showed that Daffy has since made his Instagram private and has not responded to the outcry.

Thankfully, some netizens have come out to defend Daffy saying he has the right to start a new life, and that fans should not interfere.

Daffy and Leslie were a couple for over two decades before the latter’s tragic passing.

However, both parties have never publicly confirmed their relationship, with Leslie referring to Daffy as “my good friend, Mr. Tong” during a concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum in 1997.
