ATEEZ Debuts Two Never-Before-Performed Songs In The U.S. At First Tour Stop In Tacoma
It was a legendary performance!
On July 14, ATEEZ kicked off the start of the North American leg of their ongoing world tour, Towards the Light : Will To Power, at the Tacoma Dome in Washington.
Prior to the concert, they teased that they would be performing two new songs at this first stop, giving fans hints about what they were through emojis.
Speculation over which songs the group would be adding to their setlist spread quickly across social media, with most fans assuming that the second clue was a hint for their highly-requested hit, “HALAZIA”.
There was more confusion and uncertainty over the first clue, with guesses ranging from their latest title track “Work” to popular B-sides such as “Outlaw” and “Precious”.
It turns out that “HALAZIA” and “Work” were indeed the two new songs! It was the first time that either had been performed in the United States, making the Tacoma stop of ATEEZ’s tour a historic one that fans won’t soon forget.
On top of performing these two songs, ATEEZ’s members put on a three-hour-long show with over 25 songs from their discography, serving stunning vocals, energetic dances, and endearing interactions with fans the entire time.
Not to mention their soundcheck was also a blast!
During their breaks between songs, they were adorable with each other and flexed their English fluency on multiple occasions.
Their backup dancers, dance crew BBTRIPPIN, also gave their all with their impressive dancing abilities and entertaining interactions with the idols!
Along with being incredible singers, rappers, and dancers, ATEEZ’s members are also known for their theatrical acting abilities, and this performance was no exception.
Overall, the K-Pop group’s first stop for their North American tour leg was nothing short of awe-inspiring, and we can’t wait to see what else they have to show us for the rest of their concerts!
