Donald Trump Officially Accepts Republican Presidential Nomination at RNC 2024, Gets Rare Support from Wife Melania & Daughter Ivanka
It’s official – Donald Trump is the Republican nominee.
The 78-year-old former president, along with his VP pick JD Vance, signed documents to officially accept the Republican presidential nomination during the final night of the 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
As he signed the documents, Trump was joined by wife Melania Trump and his kids, Ivanka and Eric Trump. The RNC marks the first official 2024 Presidential Election event that Melania, 54, and Ivanka, 42, have attended.
Afterwards, Trump headed inside the arena of the convention ahead of his speech. As Eric, 40, spoke on stage, Trump sat in the audience next to Eric‘s wife Lara Trump and their kids Luke, 6, and Carolina, 4, while Ivanka and husband Jared Kushner, alongside sister Tiffany Trump and her husband Michael Boulos, sat in the row behind them. Donald Trump Jr. was seen sitting several seats down from his father, while his fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle sat next to Jared.
Melania later joined the family shortly before Trump took the stage. Missing out on the event was Trump and Melania‘s 18-year-old son Barron.
