Father of girl who fell to her death pens letter to her

PETALING JAYA: The father of a 13-year-old girl who tragically fell to her death from a school building has written a heartfelt letter to her.

Addressing her as “baby,” he expressed his inability to sleep for two days, revealing his deep sorrow.

“I can’t pretend anymore; I want to cry out loud. I can’t keep it in any longer. On the surface, I look strong, but Daddy’s heart has its fragile moments too,” he shared on his now-public Facebook account.

The post included past photos of the girl with her family.

On Wednesday (Oct 2), the school confirmed the student’s passing.

Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood stated that the police were informed of the incident at the school, located at Jalan Syed Putra, around 6.59pm on Tuesday (Oct 1).

The father praised his daughter for her bravery and resilience, acknowledging the hardships she faced.

“When I close my eyes, it’s your memories, your smile! I miss you so much!” he wrote.

The Facebook post received hundreds of comments from netizens urging the father to stay strong.
