Netizens called the Chinese actress “irresponsible” for wearing stilettos when she’s pregnant.
Netizens called the Chinese actress “irresponsible” for wearing stilettos when she’s pregnant.
Netizens have been on baby bump watch ever since The Story of Yanxi Palace stars Wu Jinyan and Hong Yao surprised everyone with their marriage annoucement last month.
Pregnancy rumours began after Jinyan, 34, was seen with what looks like a baby bump in snaps circulating online.
However, as the Chinese actress is filming a new drama, some speculated that she might just be playing a pregnant woman in the show.
Jinyan also left fans guessing when she showed up at her first public appearance after marriage in a gown that cleverly concealed her stomach.
Well, wonder no more as these photos of Jinyan at the press conference for her new drama Kill Me Love Me this week pretty much confirm that she indeed has a bun in the oven.
Though Jinyan showed up in a loose black frock, her bump could clearly be seen from the side view and when she sat down.
Unsurprisingly, her belly was all netizens could talk about, with many saying that “there’s no way to hide it now”.
In fact, some speculated that she looked pretty far along and could possibly be due end of this year.
Many netizens also chided the Jinyan for wearing high heels despite her pregnancy and performing a dramatic whip stunt during the event.
“She’s wearing such high heels with that belly — it looks really dangerous,” commented one netizen, while another said: “I feel like she’s being irresponsible to herself and her child.”
