Tsinghua University’s “Macho Professor” Said To Be Uncle Of Chinese Star Yang Mi

A Mathematics professor from China’s Tsinghua University has recently gone viral for his super fit physique… and for being a relative of Chinese actress, Yang Mi, 38.

A netizen recently posted a clip of the professor giving a lecture, revealing that he is in his 60s, and is known as the school’s “macho professor”.

According to them, he is also Yang Mi’s paternal uncle.

He is seen wearing a tight-fitting white Nike shirt in the video, with the netizen, presumably a student, adding that “the contours of his abs are very visible”.

Instead of focusing on his relationship with Yang Mi, many netizens felt the professor was “inappropriately dressed”.

“He does look very striking, but it’s inappropriate for him to dress like he’s going to the gym,” wrote one netizen, while others said it made him look “unprofessional”.

They questioned if his dressing would be “distracting” for the students.

A number of netizens spoke up in the professor’s defense, saying that he’s wearing a generic Nike t-shirt, and that he’s “setting a good example by working out and leading a healthy lifestyle”.

“Would you rather him dress in a suit in the summer or buy an oversized t-shirt?” quipped one netizen.
