Misunderstanding leads to fistfight at KLIA, says cops
SEPANG: Police are investigating an altercation between a staff member and a passenger at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA)Terminal 1.
When contacted on Saturday (Nov 16), KLIA OCPD Asst Comm Azman Shariat confirmed that the fight occurred on Nov 10.
“The incident stemmed from a misunderstanding between the two after the passenger was late during the checking-in process. This then led to a fight, and the worker was slightly injured,” he said.
Currently, no arrests have been made.
A video of the fight, showing two men fighting near a counter at the airport, was circulating on social media.
