The Bachelorette’s Jenn Tran Weighs In On Show Not Airing Summer 2025 Season

Jenn Tran reacted to the news that The Bachelorette was taking the summer off.

Earlier this month, we learned that the hit series would not be airing this summer as it usually does. It marks the first time in nearly 20 years that the show is skipping a season.

No explanation for the pause has been shared yet. However, Jenn, who was the star of the latest season, shared her thoughts and revealed what she knew.

“It was a surprise to me,” she admitted to People. “The franchise has been going on for so long. Sometimes you hear things like why [shows go on pause]. I have no idea why and what’s going on there. I really have no idea.”

Jenn did find a bright side to the news, saying that maybe the show would return at a time that would generate more attention.

“The Bachelorette does usually air in the summer when people are traveling — I heard that it doesn’t do as well as The Bachelor, which airs in the fall, where people are home and ready to watch TV,” she said. “So maybe it’ll give a chance for the next Bachelorette to air at a time where there’s more visibility. That would be nice.”
