Storm Reid Talks Relationship With Zendaya & ‘Bittersweet’ Departure From ‘Euphoria’

Storm Reid opened up about her departure from Euphoria and her bond with her onscreen big sister Zendaya.

The 21-year-old actress played Gia in the first two seasons of the popular HBO series. However, she confirmed that she would not be back for the third season, which is currently in production.

In a recent interview, Storm described leaving the project as “bittersweet.” She also reflected on working with Zendaya again in the future.

“That’s my sister before Euphoria and after,” Storm told Variety. “That’s gonna be my sister for life, so I’m sure we’ll work together again one day in some capacity.”

Storm had more to say about Euphoria and her character: “I love Gia. I loved being able to embody her and give her life. I’m really excited for Season 3. I know they’re going to do something special and it’s going to be good.”
