A fan’s behavior towards aespa‘s NingNing has sparked major anger.

In the early hours of May 8, aespa arrived at the airport to head overseas for SMTOWN.

While security tries to keep the idols safe, there are moments past the main security protocol in the airport that should give stars more space. Yet, it is possible for fans to enter, especially if they have bought plane tickets, with some doing it specifically to get close to their favorite idols.

A video was shared showing a fan getting close before pushing past NingNing. The idol didn’t say anything, but the way she looked back as the fan walked away made it clear she was uncomfortable. She clarified to the fan that she wasn’t hurt.

The tweet quickly went viral.

In the comments, netizens shared their anger, including at the fan, because they believed it was done intentionally after another angle was shown seemingly without an apology, as well as the security. Fans pointed out that while it was just a push, the fan got near enough that if they had been holding something sharp, it could have really hurt NingNing.

Fans thought that the situation could have been much more dangerous and blasted the lack of protection.
