Top-Tier Actress Had The Most Unexpected Reaction To Her House Being Burgled
No one else could’ve reacted like she did.

Actress Jo Bo Ah recently opened up about an unusual childhood experience due to her overly optimistic personality. In a video released on May 16, 2025 on the Netflix Korea YouTube channel, Jo Bo Ah appeared alongside actor Lee Jae Wook to promote their new Netflix series, Dear Hongrang.
During the conversation, Jonathan brought up Jo Bo Ah’s nickname, “Empathy Fairy,” and asked about her optimistic nature. Jo Bo Ah claimed that she always tries to see the best in everyone. As an example, she brought up a memory from her childhood where her family home was burgled.

“I think I was about seven or eight years old when a thief broke into our home and took all of my mom’s valuables. But instead of being scared or angry, I remember feeling sorry for the thief.”
She went on to explain her young perspective at the time and how she might not think similarly at this point in time as a grown up.
“I thought, ‘How difficult must life be for someone to break into someone else’s house and steal?’ Looking back now, it’s a terrifying thing to imagine, but that’s genuinely how I felt then.”
She added that she hoped they had decided to better themselves and lead a good life after that incident. You can watch her whole interview below.
