NJZ’s (Formerly NewJeans) Latest Court Ruling Has Netizens In Disapproval

According to a previous report on June 17, 2025, the Seoul High Court has rejected NJZ’s (formerly NewJeans) appeal against the ban on their solo activities this afternoon.
Earlier, the Seoul Central District Court ruled entirely in favor of ADOR, granting the agency’s request for an injunction to maintain its role as NewJeans’ management company and to prevent the members from entering into advertising deals on their own. In response, the members challenged the injunction, and after their objection was dismissed, they promptly filed an appeal.
However, the appellate court also upheld the decision in ADOR’s favor. Consequently, NewJeans is currently not permitted to engage in solo activities without ADOR’s involvement.
Netizens are fully critical of the girls, claiming that they should have expected this outcome.

- Seems like it’s actually worse when they’re highly successful from debut.
- This is such a given. But if you read the Youtube comments from their fans, they’re all blaming HYBE.
- Self-destruction.
- We might be happy to see them again if they come out on Sugarman later on or something.
- I thought they had evidence to win.
